Day 1: Galway to Dublin

After a 1am bus ride to Dublin Airport, I’ve arrived at the new Terminal 2 building. It’s pretty and easy get around but sadly a long way from more efficient airport buildings such as my personal favourite, Düsseldorf. A distinct lack of power outlets for the travelling public’s use and a general feeling that you’re on a cramped site (land-side anyway) its a dramatic improvement on T1.

From here I’m off to Amsterdam’s Schipol airport via a 6am Aer Lingus code-share. More later!
